LCSW Supervision
MSW graduates working towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) need to have 3000 supervised clinical experience post-MSW graduation. 100 hours of supervision must be obtained (60 hours must be individual, 40 can be in a small group of 6 or fewer) from an LCSW with more than 4500 hours clinical experience. Hours may not be completed in fewer than 2 years, but must be completed before 5 years. The supervision form must be notarized. The form can be found in the license application.

If you have the QCSW or DCSW, you must request that a letter of verification be sent directly from NASW (national) to DCCA. You can email your request to [email protected]
If you have a BCD, you must request that a letter of verification be sent directly from ABE to DCCA. Information about ABE can be found at http://www.abecsw.org/
